by

Harvest Hosts, a Vail, CO-based company known for its membership program that provides RVers with access to over 9,000 camping locations, has acquired Escapees RV Club, a Livingston, TX-based organization that offers a wide range of services to enhance the RV lifestyle.

The financial details of the acquisition were not disclosed.

Escapees RV Club, founded 46 years ago by Joe and Kay Peterson and currently led by Co-CEOs Travis and Melanie Carr, has been a vital resource for the RV community. The club provides members with community support, events, educational resources, discounts, and more to enrich their RV experience.

This acquisition is set to strengthen the RV lifestyle by combining the resources and expertise of both organizations. Harvest Hosts has acquired Escapees’ membership platform, which includes their events, educational offerings, and community services. However, Travis and Melanie Carr will continue to manage the Escapees’ mail service and campgrounds, ensuring that existing members will still receive their benefits without interruption.

In addition, Harvest Hosts has retained the staff of Escapees RV Club, ensuring continuity in service and operations.

Harvest Hosts, led by CEO Joel Holland, is focused on streamlining the RV travel and camping experience. The company’s portfolio includes Boondockers Welcome, a community that allows RVers to stay overnight on private property for free; CampersCard, a program offering campground discounts; CampScanner, an alert service for booking sold-out campgrounds; and Brit Stops, which connects motorhome tourists in the UK and Ireland with small businesses for overnight stays.
