Function, an Austin, TX-based health platform, has closed its Series A funding round, bringing the total amount raised to $53 million. The round was led by Andreessen Horowitz (a16z) Bio + Health, with additional support from the a16z Cultural Leadership Fund. Other notable investors include Wisdom.vc, Draft Ventures, K5, G9 Ventures, and a host of prominent individuals such as Matt Damon, Ari Emanuel, Kevin Hart, Embiid Ventures, Jay Shetty, Blake Griffin, Zac Efron, Jimmy Rollins, Colin Kaepernick, Dr. Casey Means, Pedro Pascal, Ara Katz, Harvey Spevak, Harpreet Singh Rai, and Jeff Dean.

Function provides a comprehensive health platform that manages lifelong health by offering over 100 lab tests. These tests help individuals understand various aspects of their body, including heart health, hormones, thyroid, nutrients, toxins, autoimmunity, and immunity.
