Entegris’ QED Technologies will be acquired by Quad-C Management

Quad-C Management, a leading middle market private equity firm, and Entegris, Inc., a leading supplier of advanced materials and process solutions for the semiconductor and other high-technology industries, announced today that they have reached a definitive agreement for Quad-C to acquire QED Technologies International, Inc. (QED) from Entegris. QED provides cutting-edge MRF polishing and SSI metrology manufacturing solutions to sophisticated optics manufacturers, enhancing production speed and yield while minimizing costs.

The QED business of Entegris is part of the company’s Specialty Chemicals and Engineered Materials (SCEM) division. The acquisition is scheduled to close in the first quarter of 2023, subject to regulatory clearances and other usual closing conditions.
