Music platform Duetti has raised $114 million to support its mission of democratizing catalog monetization for independent artists. The funding includes $34 million in equity financing led by Flexpoint Ford, alongside existing investors Nyca Partners and Viola Ventures, as well as an $80 million asset-backed securitization (ABS) backed by Duetti’s diversified music rights catalog, with Barclays serving as structuring and placement agent.
Duetti’s new capital will fund further acquisition of music catalogs and enhancement of its proprietary technology for forecasting, pricing, sourcing, and marketing. CEO Lior Tibon highlighted Duetti’s role in reshaping music financing for independents: “Duetti is here to ensure independent artists have access to financing solutions outside the major label ecosystem, backed by diverse funding sources.”
The platform has helped over 500 artists across genres and countries gain immediate capital by selling music rights, providing opportunities for increased distribution and visibility through its playlist network, YouTube channels, and sync placements in TV, film, and ads.
