Deepfake protection SaaS startup Loti AI raises .2M Series A

Deepfake protection startup Loti AI has closed a $16.2 million Series A funding round, led by Khosla Ventures with continued support from FUSE, Bling Capital, and Ensemble. The round follows Loti AI’s previous $6.65M seed funding in 2024 from a similar group of investors including Alpha Edison and K5 Tokyo Black.

The new capital will be used to scale Loti AI’s systems, strengthen partnerships with top talent agencies like WME and CAA, and expand its newly launched consumer-facing product that lets everyday users monitor and remove unauthorized likeness content online.

“Partnering with Khosla Ventures to solve likeness and licensing challenges online is an important step in prioritizing human agency,” said Luke Arrigoni, founder and CEO of Loti AI. “We are committed to ensuring individuals have effortless control over their digital identities.”

Since its founding in 2022, Loti AI has developed proprietary AI tools to detect and remove content that misuses the likeness of public figures and individuals. These include deepfakes, voice clones, social media impersonations, and leaked media. The company’s technology helps high-profile clients—celebrities, athletes, and brands—protect their digital identity and streamline licensing enforcement.

With the rise of generative AI, demand for protective tools like Loti AI’s has surged. The startup recently rolled out a free tool that lets individuals sign up at lotiai.com/sign-up to scan and remove misuse of their images or voice. For advanced protection, public figures can schedule demos via lotiai.com/book-a-demo.

“Loti has world-class technology and a category-leading product that’s already protecting A-list celebrities and major brands,” said Jon Chu of Khosla Ventures. “Their mission aligns with the urgent need for fraud and trust protection in the age of generative AI.”

Loti AI envisions a digital future where technological progress and personal autonomy coexist, allowing users to reclaim their digital identities and even resurface long-lost personal media through its platform.

As the generative AI wave continues to rise, Loti AI positions itself as a critical infrastructure provider—ensuring people and brands can control what they share and what stays private.
