Bubty, a staff recruitment and management platform, has secured $1.9 million in Seed funding to enhance freelance recruitment and management processes.
The Seed funding was provided by existing shareholders and an established American industry player who shares Bubty’s vision for the future labor market. With this funding, Bubty plans to expand its activities in the US by recruiting senior sales and marketing professionals and further developing its technology.
The platform leverages AI-driven technology to enable companies to move away from traditional third-party marketplaces and establish their internal, private talent pools for managing freelancers. This approach allows companies to streamline freelancer management, from contracting to payment, resulting in time and cost savings while improving work quality.
Bubty’s technology includes AI-driven matching to quickly find the right freelancer, addressing the need for flexibility in a market that increasingly values agility. The platform also ensures that payments comply with international regulations, making it accessible for companies in over 190 countries to hire, contract, and pay freelancers.
Benjamin Schriel, Co-founder of Bubty, emphasized the importance of efficient freelance management in a workforce where almost half is comprised of freelancers (47%). The platform’s growth is evident, with a 240% increase in recurring revenue within two years since its founding. Bubty has gained strong traction in the UK and the US, where freelance hiring is prevalent.
