Amberflo.io, created by ex-AWS engineers to assist any company in getting started with Usage-Based Pricing (UBP), launched today and announced a $15 million Series A fundraising round lead by Norwest Venture Partners. Homebrew previously led a $5 million seed investment for the startup. Amberflo already supports the metering and billing infrastructure for a number of fast-growing firms, including LaunchDarkly, Firebolt.io, and Coherent.global, and processes tens of billions of meter events per day.
Economic uncertainty and shrinking budgets are giving enterprises that can offer flexible pricing choices that react to consumption a competitive advantage. Amberflo’s technology enables businesses to fully automate their customer onboarding and provisioning procedures as part of a Product-Led Growth (PLG) sales cycle. Users can select from a variety of popular pre-built Usage-Based Pricing models, or they can take complete control and design their own pricing plans.
Amberflo enables businesses to track and charge on usage and bill customers with on-demand, accurate metered invoicing. Based out of the San Francisco Bay Area, Amberflo is supported by investors including Norwest Venture Partners, Homebrew, and Operator Collective.
