UptimeAI, a San Francisco, CA-based provider of AI-driven plant monitoring software for industrial sectors, has raised $14M in Series A funding. The round was led by WestBridge Capital, with participation from Emergent Ventures and Aditya Birla Ventures.
Founded in 2019 by Jagadish Gattu and Vamsi Yalamanchili, UptimeAI offers its AI Expert OEx platform, designed to help companies in industries like chemical, oil and gas, and utilities optimize asset performance and address process anomalies. The platform has gained traction globally, with implementations across North America, the Middle East, and India.
Jagadish Gattu, co-founder of UptimeAI, emphasized the company’s mission to make the expertise of seasoned Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) accessible through a self-learning AI solution. With 90% of revenue already coming from the U.S. and Middle East markets, Gattu noted that this funding will enable further expansion and enhancement of the AI Expert OEx platform in these key regions.
This follows UptimeAI’s $3.5M seed funding secured in December 2022. The new investment will support the company’s growth and development efforts, allowing it to continue delivering innovative solutions to industrial customers worldwide.
