NEC X, the Silicon Valley-based innovation accelerator and venture studio backed by global IT leader NEC, has announced the selection of seven standout startups for its Elev X! Ignite cohort Batch 11. These startups were chosen from a pool of over 250 qualified applicants for their disruptive potential in AI, public safety, marketing, healthcare, and other emerging technologies.
Since its inception in 2018, NEC X has facilitated the launch and growth of more than 100 startups.
Elev X! Ignite offers a unique approach to the venture studio model, providing selected startups with collaboration opportunities, funding, engineering expertise, extensive R&D resources, and comprehensive support services. The program is designed to accelerate entrepreneurs through the ideation and prototyping phase, preparing them to scale their innovative technologies globally.

The startups selected for Elev X! Ignite Batch 11 are:
- AI VOBIS: A transformative startup focusing on digital health and medical AI.
- Barricade AI: Utilizes multimodal generative AI to help first responders reduce reporting time and increase field presence.
- Jump AI: Offers an AI-powered integration platform for custom SaaS-to-SaaS integrations, enabling startups to rapidly connect tools with usage-based pricing and automated maintenance.
- Metapyxl: Elevates digital rights management by empowering creators and businesses to secure content, embed links for direct purchases in images, and leverage analytics for superior engagement and reach.
- OwlVision: Develops an AI/ML-driven co-pilot using machine vision to enhance situational awareness, reduce collision risk, and address challenges in aviation infrastructure.
- Talentlabs.ai: Provides customizable deep AI intelligence to automate recruitment processes and identify ideal candidates faster.
- UpendNow Inc.: Offers a SaaS platform to optimize pre-production workflows of high-end videos and films by automating ideation and strategy using generative AI.
Members of Elev X! gain access to NEC X’s ecosystem of startup resources and services, including funding, mentorship, advanced technologies, workshops, skill development, and strategic collaborations.
This comprehensive support enables startups to develop compelling Minimum Viable Products (MVPs), validate Proof-of-Concepts (POCs), engage customers, secure funding, and thrive in today’s competitive startup landscape.
NEC X has witnessed significant growth since its establishment, with a 72% increase in applications for Elev X! Ignite cohort Batch 10. Past graduates of the program include successful startups such as Metabob, eCommerceInsights.ai (Indellia), Beagle Technology, NavigateIO, Flyhound, Qualitative Intelligence, and WeWalk.
