Log my Care Secures £3 Million Follow-On Investment to Expand Digital Care Services

Log my Care, a digital care home platform, has successfully raised £3 million in a follow-on investment round to bolster its support services for individuals with learning disabilities. Founded in 2017, Log my Care offers caregivers a comprehensive platform to record patient notes, access medical records, and receive timely reminders via mobile notifications. Moreover, the app facilitates the creation of personalized care plans, enhancing efficiency and quality of care delivery.

Sam Hussain, CEO of Log my Care, emphasized the platform’s role in empowering caregivers with more time to dedicate to patients and access to crucial information, thereby enhancing the overall quality of care provided. With a reported revenue of over £2 million in 2023, Log my Care plans to utilize the new investment to launch a GP connect service. This innovative service will integrate with NHS data, enabling users to seamlessly access GP records for improved care coordination.

Furthermore, Hussain outlined the company’s ambitious goal to expand its user base from 20,000 to over 100,000 patients with the support of the newly secured funding. The investment, provided by previous backer Mercia Ventures, underscores the growing recognition among care providers for the adoption of digital technology to enhance operational efficiency and service delivery.

Henry Hamilton, Investment Manager at Mercia Ventures, highlighted Log my Care’s appeal to independent care homes as an easy-to-use solution that drives efficiency gains at an affordable price point. He noted the company’s rapid growth trajectory and its alignment with government initiatives promoting digital transformation in the healthcare sector.

This latest funding round brings Log my Care’s total raised capital to over £7 million, following a £3.3 million investment from Mercia Ventures in November 2022. As Log my Care continues to expand its digital care offerings, it remains poised to play a pivotal role in driving innovation and improving outcomes in the care home sector.
