Arcade, empowering product led companies to build beautiful experiences announced of its seed investment of $7.5 million. Foundation Capital was lead investor in that round.
The business stated today that the product, which has been in private beta for the previous eight months, is now available to the general public.
Arcade build interactive snippets of your product to host on your websites, blogs, and social media.
Arcade, a startup founded by two former Atlassian workers, sought to tackle this issue with a simple Chrome plugin for fast creating demos of products that users may use in a variety of circumstances.
According to the startup, over 1000 companies have developed 4,000 demos using the platform since it entered private beta earlier this year. Clark states that they are currently hiring, particularly in customer success and sales.
The $7.5 million seed funding was split into two installments. Upfront Ventures, Sequoia, and other industry angels, including Front CEO Mathilde Collin and Shippo CEO Laura Behrens Wu, invested $2.5 million in the startup in January.
Joanne Chen of Foundation Ventures, together with many other industry angels, led the second round, a $5 million investment. Under the terms of the agreement, Chen will join the board of directors of Arcade.
