Supersimple, a self-service business insights platform based in Talinn, has successfully raised $2.2M in Pre-Seed funding. The capital infusion is earmarked to fuel customer acquisition efforts and enhance the platform’s data searching algorithms.
Designed as a user-friendly solution, Supersimple enables users to navigate complex and proprietary datasets seamlessly, without the need for coding expertise. Tailored specifically for teams within B2B SaaS companies, the platform empowers users to address ad-hoc data inquiries using natural language processing, facilitating the extraction of specific insights in accessible formats beyond pre-built dashboards.
However, a persistent challenge in the realm of generative AI services is the issue of ‘hallucination,’ wherein models may inadvertently extract false answers from training data. Despite this challenge, Supersimple endeavors to mitigate this risk, providing users with reliable and accurate data insights.
As major tech conglomerates pursue exclusive data agreements and leverage intelligence to bolster their generative AI capabilities, access to high-quality data remains a contentious issue in Europe. Supersimple aims to bridge this gap by delivering meticulously curated datasets directly to users, facilitating innovation and informed decision-making.
Supersimple traces its origins back to the co-founders’ previous venture, Sixfold, where CTO Priit Haamer and CEO Marko Klopets were previously involved. Following Sixfold’s merger with Transporeon and subsequent acquisition for $2 billion, Supersimple leverages the expertise of its machine learning engineering team, predominantly comprised of former Sixfold personnel.
The funding round is spearheaded by Tera Ventures, with participation from Specialist VC and a diverse group of angel investors, including notable figures such as the former CTO of Twilio and the founders of Sixfold and Grünfin.
Eamonn Carey, partner at Tera Ventures, expressed confidence in Supersimple’s transformative potential, emphasizing the platform’s ability to address the persistent challenge of translating data into actionable insights. Carey remarked, “When I heard Marko explain his vision and I saw the platform in action, it became crystal clear that this is what the future would look like.”
With the infusion of capital, Supersimple is poised to expand its market presence, empower organizations with actionable data insights, and pave the way for a data-driven future in business intelligence.
